When you watch Raw or Smackdown, sometimes you forget that the television tapings are only a small part of what a WWE wrestler goes through on a constant basis. Most wrestlers who work for WWE travel well over a hundred days per year. A lot of this is by air, but also a lot of it is on the road. Travelling is almost a daily routine for WWE wrestlers and employees and because of that, they have hundreds of funny, interesting, sad and enraging stories to tell.

Are We There Yet? is a collection of road stories contributed by wrestlers and other personnel who were working there at the time. It's a departure from the majority of wrestling books which are autobiographies. From great ribs played, strange mishaps, problems with the law and just about anything else that might come up. Some of the names who lend their stories are: John Cena, Mark Henry, Teddy Long, Shannon Moore, Matt Hardy, Hurricane Helms, Kane, Jim Ross, Goldberg, JBL, Booker T, The Undertaker, Molly Holly, Ivory, Victoria, Stacy Keiber, Lita, Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson, Michael Cole, Paul Heyman, Dr. Tom Prichard, Brooklyn Brawler, Al Snow, Stevie Richards, Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Big Show and many more. Stories aren't limited to WWE, as there are also stories from WCW, ECW and even some territorial days from the old-timers.

If you choose to read Are We There Yet? cover-to-cover, it goes by very fast and there are many laughs to be had. Most will probably appreciate the practical jokes the most. One of the best ribs is from Jonathan Coachman. The best story in the book was told by Rico Constantino, who had to deal with a crazed passenger on a plane. One of the problems with the book is the same wrestlers come up quite frequently, whereas others only come up once. Perhaps some of the wrestlers realized this was there only chance to get royalties from a book. Some names are spelt wrong, which can be puzzling when this sort of thing is not difficult to double check. With those problems aside, anyone who is interested in the lives of wrestlers outside of the ring will find enjoyment in reading Are We There Yet?.
