Have you ever been watching wrestling suddenly you had the urge to find something out, be it what happened on a pay-per-view, a particular title history or a character's backstory? It doesn't matter if you're wondering about Tuesday in Texas, the WWF Hardcore title or Flash Funk. Brought to you by Brian Shields and (not that) Kevin Sullivan, WWE Encyclopedia puts the answer to your query right at your fingertips.

WWE Encyclopedia claims to be the Definitive Guide to World Wrestling Entertainment, and it would be hard to argue otherwise. It includes over 700 entries going all the way back to the 60s, along with more than 2500 images. That's enough to make any wrestling fan excited. The entries display a flag next to the name, to note the nationality. It also tells you that person's height and weight, hometown, signature move and title history. Below that is a bio. Depending on how important WWE considers the entry, it could be a whole page, or it could be a quarter of a page.

There are a few very minor issues with the book. The most obvious of which is that it is written entirely in kayfabe, which means no real names or anything that WWE doesn't necessarily want you to know. However, this should not come as a surprise given the nature of the product. Secondly is that there are a very select few number of omissions, such as Ultimo Dragon, Rico and Kanyon. Hopefully, WWE will continue to update this encyclopedia periodically because we all know nothing stays the same in WWE for very long. Regardless, this is a quality product and one any hardcore WWE fan add to his collection.
