Since 2000, WrestleCrap has served as a Hall of Shame for the worst gimmicks, angles and anything else that they want to write about. As implied by the name, the site is based around making light out of the most ridiculous events to happen in wrestling. The authors also host a weekly podcast on the website which features random ramblings more than it does wrestling talk.

RD Reynolds and Blade Braxton of WrestleCrap have searched through all of their files of some of the worst characters and storylines wrestling has had to offer and presented it in list format. The book is purely humour, with such categories as Top Best Mullets, Greatest Headgear Apparatuses and Top Wrestlers from Outer Space, The WrestleCrap Book of Lists is not a serious ranking system, just an excuse to make as many random jokes as possible with little regard to any format. The lists are all randomly numbered, so if the authors could think of 15 Idiotically Named Wrestling Moves, they could write about all of them and if they only had 3 Wrestlers Who Actually Made the Moustache Cool, that's all they needed.

You might not want to read The WrestleCrap Book of Lists cover-to-cover. Instead, it may be best to pick it up, read a couple pages and put it back down for another time. If you're looking for a book with structure, or a serious book such as Death of WCW (which Reynolds co-wrote), this book is simply not what you're looking for. If you're looking for a laugh and enjoy the type of irreverent humour WrestleCrap offers, you will have a lot of fun reading this book.
